M/S Gulf Target General Contracting & Transporting Est. was established in 2003 and is a leading Firm with a Category 2 Classification for Roads and Storm water at present, with a potential of upgrading our classification to Category 1 within the near future (upon receiving the final completion for some of our projects). Expanding its business enterprise in Dubai as Gulf Target Road Contracting in 2008. Our General Manager and Founder is a master degree holder in Highway Designs from U.K has over 25 years' experience in construction of Infrastructures & Road. Over 20 years in UAE.

In general our Projects scope of work includes a combination of Roads and Infrastructure. Our Roads and Infrastructure works are growing dramatically and it is always to the standards of all governmental agencies, main clients and contractors and the expansion of this activity includes introduction of experienced technical personnel and latest earthmoving machinery to the establishment.

Gulf Target has its own fleet of construction equipment & vehicles all with high qualified operators and drivers.

Gulf Target has contributed in the construction of vital facilities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi including but not limited to Zayed University (Khalifa City), Al Forsan Compound (Khalifa City), Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Al Bustan Mixed Complex, Ritz Carlton Hotel & Resort, Paris Sorbone University, Al Reef II Villas, etc.

Major clients included DMW, DOT, Abu Dhabi Municipality Affairs, Al Habtoor Engineering, HMR, Drake & Scull, ARABTEC, Target & Jima, Al Jurf, Target Construction, Tarmac, Pauling M.E, Al-Tharawat, Discovery, Emirates Building and Aljeco.

The company's resources include a core group of qualified and trained engineers, professionals, skilled and experienced tradesman, well maintained and adequate construction equipment and machinery and fully supported by AUTOCAD facilities computerized project monitoring, accounting, cost control systems and electronic document management systems.

The management is of the firm belief that a company wide emphasis on quality management and Health, Safety and Environment issues is the best way to be competitive and successful in the construction industry. Therefore, maintains an essential and an effective balance of interests of the owners, the ultimate customer, employees, suppliers and subcontractors and the society in general.

Quality Policy

It is our policy to ensure that all projects are executed in accordance with contract specifications and drawings, within the contractual time frame, and in compliance with all legal requirements thus providing good value and satisfaction to our clients.

This quality policy will be displayed in offices and on all sites, and it is the responsibility of both the management and employees to be aware of this quality policy and the applicable company systems relevant to ones area of work.

The quality management system defined within this manual will apply to all the company divisions & departments and all the construction sites, within the framework of the agreed contract and applicable clauses of the standard.

We believe that our clients, employees, suppliers/subcontractors and the society in general are important contributor's in our business. This fact will be evenly considered in our overall business dealings vis-a-vis the interests of company management.

The company management is committed to comply with the client requirements and continuously improve the effectiveness of the quality management system by analyzing customer feedback conducting internal audits, imparting training where necessary and review of the Quality Managements system.

Health,Safety & Environment (HSE) Policy

Gulf Target Transportation & General Contracting Est. is committed to a policy of safe working conditions and practices, for all persons employed on sites, in full compliance and industry standards.

The company is committed to take all necessary actions to promote good health and prevent accidents, injuries and any adverse effects on its employees, equipment and the physical environment in which its activities are carried out.

The company will care for the environment through its commitment to good environmental practices. It will also aim to reduce the health, safety and environmental impacts of its activities and prevent pollution, by utilizing a structured risk management approach, taking into consideration the needs of its employees, customers, subcontractors and the community at large.

This commitment to health, safety and environment (HSE) is communicated to all employees and subcontractors by prominent display of the policy on project sites & offices, handbooks and during induction training.

The General Manager - CEO together with other members of the management board, have the overall responsibility for HSE management, and giving equal priority to HSE along with other business issue and provision of adequate resources. However, it is the responsibility of all managers, engineers, supervisors and workforce to understand their role in implementing this policy and comply with all requirements.

The management believes that effective management of health, safety and environmental issues is fundamental to success, and it is therefore committed to continuously improve the performance of the HSE management system through setting of objectives and targets, periodic audits, necessary training, encouraging new ideas, employee participation, coordination with customer and subcontractor and bi-annual management reviews.
